New Medicare Rule You Need to Know

Writer: stewartduncan9stewartduncan9

If you're 65 or older, and use your employer's healthcare plan instead of enrolling into Medicare, you will want to read this. Starting January 1, 2025, employer plans may no longer be accepted as a way out of the late penalties because they will no longer pay as much as the new and improved Part D coverage. January 1 is when out-of-pocket maximums will be set at $2,000, and some of the previously accepted creditable employer plans will no longer meet the qualifying threshold.

To better understand if enrolling into Medicare is your best decision, call or text me and I will help you compare your options.
